BECOMING A MEMORABLE CREATIVE : A 5-WEEK WORKSHOP SERIES
How do we become memorable in an age of digital distraction?
How can we gain authority in a competitive industry and gain the confidence to increase our rates?
This 5-session online workshop series guides participants down a path to achieve just that.
Topics covered include the following:
Connecting to our higher purpose
Gaining confidence
Connecting to our deeper creativity
Increasing our self-worth.
BECOMING MEMORABLE
Actor Steve Martin famously claimed the key to his success was to be “so good they can’t ignore you.”
While our increasing use of digital media is making it easier for us to express ourselves, it is also becoming easier to be forgotten, ignored and overlooked in a mass of information overload.
This digital globalisation means competition is becoming fierce making it more challenging for professionals to be seen and heard.
A few important questions arise:
How does one stand out?
How do we become an authority in our industry?
How does one become “So good they can’t ignore you”?
Why do some designers struggle, piling up debt, juggling thankless side jobs and uninspiring projects, while others seemingly sail by, getting rich doing what they love?
Making money as a creative can be hard.
Competition is fierce and our value can easily be threatened by hard-nosed clients and talented newcomers who eagerly give-away their time for a spot in the sun.
It can also be ridiculously easy.
When our uniqueness, confidence and personal power run the show, opportunities to cultivate prosperous careers can arise.
This workshop series aims to support:
creative professionals who feel they may have plateau-ed and are looking to step up to a higher level.
recent graduates in a creative field who want to start on the right foot
individuals who are begin to carve out a new creative career.
