Above the design cafe was the gallery's second apartment of progress, a curated living space challenging the misconception that socially conscious and sustainable design relinquish style.
L’Appartement du Progrès brings together noteworthy designs picked from 19 greek street’s collections, including Peter Marigold's vegetable light, a sustainable bed by Muzzle design, table and chairs by Markus Friedrich Staab, and a large sculptural lounge chair by Anders Hammarstrand.
This time around, bits of fashion and technology were also added to the mix to create a more integrated experience and showcase. Fashion by Tengri and Lily Cole's Impossible shop as well as A sustainable laptop by Lenovo and the latest Fairphone, the world's first sustainable smart phone.
