EPISODE 8: THE HEALING POWER OF WRITING

HOW CAN PUTTING PEN TO PAPER BECOME A PERSONAL SHAMANIC HEALING  PROCESS?
BY REVEALING AND BRINGING AWARENESS TO DEEPLY-ANCHORED WOUNDS WHICH ARE WAITING TO BE RELEASED.

Annette Maxberry-Carrara is one of the most fascinating and inspiring people I know. She has been a writer, a publisher, founded an association for people with Aids, been a psychotherapist, a healer, seer, and experienced the civil war in Algeria. Most amazing of all, she heals people by allowing them to see the God within them.
In this week's episode I have the privilege of sitting down with her to speak about the divine healing process behind writing
When I joined Annette's writing group 2 years ago, I instantly noticed something powerful and unexpected was happening in the process.
I noticed that as the words appeared on the page it was as if they were not coming from me but rather "through me" and I found myself regularly sharing personal experiences which I realised had been looking to be healed.

In this episode:
- Annette walks us through her experience of healing through writing,
- shares valid insights on the topic of exploring and also releasing stories which are seeking resolution within us,
- talks about what makes a good prompt
- offers us some ideas on how we can all use writing for our highest good.
- we also talk about how the healer's role is changing, and how transformation and shamanic work can also happen in unlikely ways such as serving tea or writing a story.

For those of you who would also like to have a go, I also share a prompt which was powerful in helping me release a personal experience, and share the story that emerged.

Do feel free to write a story of your own and share it by tagging me on social media or on email at m@marcperidis.com
